Our classes are full and this year we added another grade.  Our DLSB student body comprises this year grades four through eight.  We are absolutely delighted with our students and the gifts that they bring to our school.  Again we renew out focus on the faith, honoring St. John Babtist de la Salle charism and vision for his schools.  Jesus was his focus and it is ours too as we try to awaken a strong faith in our students for the person of Jesus Christ.  There is hardly any reason to have a Catholic school if Jesus is not the reason for its existence.  A good private school is not our goal.  We want a good Catholic school, and in Christ Jesus we believe that He wants our children to be educated in a way that builds them up in the world and bring them home to Him giving good witness to Him along the way.  Live Jesus in our hearts--Forever!  (This prayer taught by St. John Baptist de la Salle to his students is said by our students many times each day.)
