After The Native American Traditional Mass

We are the Catholic Blackfeet people united together in Christ Jesus. Little Flower Parish is located on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation located at Northwestern Montana. As a parish community we value our Native American Culture and look for ways to celebrate Jesus using some of our cultural ways. It is not uncommon for us to have Native American drums at our liturgies—especially at our funerals. We try once a month to celebrate our Sunday liturgies using some of the Native American cultural ways. This unique way of celebrating the Eucharist, seamlessly blending our native culture into the Eucharistic ritual of the Catholic Church, is an exciting challenge to us and very life giving to those of us who love our cultural ways.
